Hyperloop in India

Trivandrum to Bengaluru in 41 Minutes, Bengaluru to Chennai in 20 Minutes, Delhi to Mumbai in 55 Minutes, are we speaking about any supersonic jets here? Actually it’s no, because this is the time to travel between this cities when traveled through Hyper loop – A high speed express. This project was announced as a part of vision for India project proposed by Hyperloop one. The project was announced by Rob Loyd, Chairman of Hyperloop in presence of the government officials including the Central Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu. “We are waiting to see this concept to be made into reality and will give all possible support from government side to make this a reality” Said Mr. Suresh Prabhu.

By using this technology it’s possible to travel in a speed of 1200 KPH, and it’s expected to be made practical by the end of 2020. Hyperloop one believes that India is having scope for them and this was proven when of the 7 routes selected by the Company in Asia, 5 of them were from India.

But the project requires a huge amount of capital investment and it’s in this context that the company decided to start a project called Vision India in order to collect the funds by bringing together the private and public firms in India.

Elon Musk a multi-millionaire based from America is the man behind this technology. Twice the speed of an airplane and lesser travelling and building cost is what makes Hyperloop outstanding.

The technology works with the help of a specially designed vacuum tube with the help of Magnetic field this tube is propelled and this makes the Hyperloop to gain the unbelievable speed
