An Indian mobile company Smartron has announced the launch of SRT Smart phone where SRT is the short of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Smartron is Indian technology companies which have Sachin as one of its investor and also the brand ambassador of the company. As per the founders of Smartron SRT will be the reply to the Chinese phone manufactures like Xiaomi, Huawei , Motorola etc. who hold the major share in the Indian mobile technology. The company believes that by the launch of SRT phone, which is designed and developed in India the customers will turn into indigenous brands as the customers are sick of the poor quality and after sales service provided by the Chinese brands.
The Smartron SRT will be powered by Google’s latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat software. The phone was launched in India on Thursday in the presence of the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and other invited celebrities. SRT will cost Rs 12,999 for the base model which is a 32 GB version and the 64 GB version of the SRT phone will meanwhile cost buyers Rs 13,999 in Flipkart. The Smartron SRT also comes with an optional Sachin Tendulkar Signature back covers.
