The Maruti Swift 2017 is lighter than the present version of Swift. It is based on a new platform, hence the weight is reduced. Design wise the Swift 2017 is an evolution over the current car. Even though basic design is the same, there has been lot of up gradation in styling. Suzuki Swift has been one of the most successful models made so far by the company and hence they have shown all that importance in the new version of Swift.
The new Swift looks sharper and aggressive. It will get daytime running LEDs and projector headlamps for the first time. The side profile remains similar to the current Swift. There isn’t a major change in the dimensions of the Maruti Swift 2017. It will get 16-inch alloy wheels for the first time, which will be seen only in higher end variants. The lower variants will get 15-inch wheels. The tyres will have a profile of 195/60 on the higher spec model. Maruti Swift 2017 has more room on the inside. This makes it an even better package than before.
The Maruti Swift 2017 has better space at the rear because of a bit longer wheelbase. The Maruti Swift 2017 shall offer more knee room and head room for rear passengers too. The boot space will also be more than the current one. Talking more about the add-ons in the newer version of Maruti Swift, will come with features like touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. There will be dual airbags and ABS as a standard feature.
All new Maruti Swift 2017 shall be priced at INR 5.4 lakhs and the top model should be priced somewhere close INR 8.7 lakhs (on-road pricing). It’s been anticipated that Maruti Swift 2017 will top the Indian passenger car market this year until it gets a serious rivalry
