Lyricist and Music director inside a same person, how does it help you in composing songs?
It makes it easier and clear. There won’t be any confusion about the mood of the song. It gives me the utmost freedom to express my thoughts in the best possible way I can, melody wise and lyrical wise.
Being a young music director and having made experienced singers in Industry like Vijay Yesudas, Shweta Mohan etc. to sing for your tunes,did you ever faced any difficulties in guiding artists of that level?
No. I was calm and relaxed. I never felt any tension or stress while doing it. May be they were all chilled out and friendly and that may be the reason that I could work with them effortlessly
Being from Alappuzha where nature is at its all-time high, what are your Onam memories or the specialties in a typical Aleppey style Onam?
My childhood was the best and vibrant. We used to have all the fun and games during Onam. Cousins will be coming and lot of playtime and food will be there. We have gone in search of flowers around the village then, it was all pure happiness and fun but the favorite part was obviously getting new dresses.
What is waiting you for this Onam? How you plan to celebrate it as this is really a special year for you musically.
This Onam is full of plans to work out new stuff, new projects, new releases, more music and more fun.
