Which is the happiest dream realized through Dreampad?
When we collected all the dreams the most common dreams were to visit Lulu Mall, take a ride on the Metro and just have a day out. We thought through how we could make this happen but since we are all students and financially did not have the capacity to pull it off we had let that rest. But I guess God had other plans. One of our friends in college came to us and offered to take the expenses of taking the kids out. We immediately spoke to a few people and planned it all out. A few days before christmas we took all the kids out for a day. First they had their Metro ride, then from there they spend some time at the Mall and finally the evening was rounded up with some quality time and plenty of gifts at the park. This was not just the happiest day for them but also for us. Never have we seen such genuine smiles and pure joy. Till today we cherish that day and use it as an inspiration to keep going even when it gets difficult.
Challenges you had to face when setting up such a different concept?
The main challenge definitely was time. We were all in college, when it got busy we all got busy together. Finding time between all that to design posters, post the content, keep track of the messages coming and most importantly regularly spend time with the children was quite a challenge. Later when we started visiting schools and colleges with the concept making sure that the core idea is transferred effectively and the values are not lost was very important to us. But none of the challenges or hurdles could stop us from making it happen cause at the end of the day we all wanted our kids to smile.
