Google Ads under scanner

The telecom companies AT&T and Verizon, as well as the pharmaceutical company GSK, Pepsi, Walmart, Johnson & Johnson have pulled their ads from google ads as their ads were displayed in many YouTube content promoting terrorism and hate as a result Google is dealing not only with reputation damage but revenue damage too from the last two weeks. Its now opening the doors into a scenario that the brands are not aware about where all their ads are getting displayed and all these companies are worried about the legal initiations which they will have to face if their ads are getting featured in any anti national or anti government platforms. Even though YouTube already have “brand safety” controls for advertisers its under scanner now due to this recent issue.
