Your challenge in remixing the evergreen hits. How was it? How do you find people of Cochin accepting the DJ trend?
It is the most challenging part, as we all know, people in Kerala unlike the ones in other parts of India, are much more inclined to the melodies. It was indeed the hardest work to get the evergreen hits remixed but still retain its beauty. With time, the taste of people is also changing. Nowadays crowd is accepting the remix trend positively. Cochin is a fast-moving city, even though acceptance, in the beginning, was too low, nowadays you might even find people enjoy DJ parties at private parties and clubs, which means the trend is gripping.
How do you choose music for private parties and clubs or other occasions?
Everywhere I go as a DJ, I ensure I have a good groovy collection of songs. Mostly I assess and anticipate the crowd and play the music that suits the mood. If it is a private party, I ensure to play the music that brings the party alive.
