The Indian subsidiary of Harley Davidson has slated the launch the latest offering in India soon. Named as the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750, this new motorcycle will be based on the standard version of the Street 750. However, there is no official confirmation by the company regarding the launch date or the pricing of the vehicle.
The exterior styling of the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 is hugely based on the company’s XR1200X model. There is a new fairing, revised back section and split seats which reminds us about the XR1200X. There is a drag style handlebars with bar end rearview mirrors to add to the cafe racer aesthetics. Other features in the upcoming Harley are LED tail light and turn indicators and a 3.5-inch electronic speedometer. The front gets 43 mm upside down forks and the rear gets twin piggyback shocks. The dual disc brakes are likely to get ABS as a part of added safety.

The all new Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 features a high intensity engine under the hood. The 750 cc engine offers high revs and as a result, higher torque. Even though the mechanical specifications are not known yet, the company has claimed that the new motorcycle will make 8 per cent more torque compared to the standard Street 750. Considering this, we can make out what the actual torque figures. The standard version makes a maximum of 59 Nm of torque, hence, this newer version might be able to produce around 62-64 Nm of highest torque.
As said before, the price figures are yet unknown. However, the price of the Street Rod 750 might go up by Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 compared to the standard Harley Davidson Street 750. The regular version is currently retailed at Rs. 4.9 lakhs exclusive showroom price.
