Word renowned photography brand Kodak has released its first smartphone named as Kodak Ektra, the next level camera phone. It is equipped with a 21 megapixel camera and is priced at 19,990 INR. Kodak Ektra available to purchase from today in Flipkart.
Kodak merged with the British company Bullitt Group on making this smartphone which has resemblance to Kodak’s camera Ektra, which was launched in 1941. The design of the phone is also mimicking a vintage camera.
Being a camera centric phone, The Kodak Ektra is equipped with 5-inch LCD display and is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. The smartphone offers 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage and runs older Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and uses USB port for charging and data transfer.
Regarding the photography capabilities, Kodak Ektra features a 21MP optically stabilised rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto focus and dual LED flash. The rear camera also supports advanced manual controls with the ability to adjust exposure, ISO, focal length, white balance and shutter speed. The latest software also supports RAW file capture and an option to disable auto scene detection in smart auto mode. It also features a 13MP front camera with phase detection autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and for post capturing edit the phone is equipped with the reputed photo editing app Snap Seed.
