Lalitham Sundaram ( transl. Simple is beautiful) is an Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Madhu Warrier in his directorial debut, starring Manju Warrier, Biju Menon, Saiju Kurupp, Anu Mohan, Sudheesh etc.
Reuniting for their mom’s death anniversary, will her last wish bring back lost love? This is the basic plot. Three siblings Sunny Annie and Jerry comes back for a reunion and solves the dramatic problems they all have with each other. This movie was way too early, we have to circle way back into the good old days of cinema to enjoy this one. So much drama and all that for nothing. It was a watchable first half, but the second half and the last twenty minutes were the last nail.While a bunch try to normalise the rights of women and how equality thrives, this one goes with the other side. I just watched for the sake of the good old combo of Manju and Biju, but this is not worth any of that sadly.
