About your family, and the way they supported you for pursuing a dangerous sport.
They have always been supportive when it comes to racing on the race track at such high speed. They encourage me to race and win.
India country with almost 1.3 billion population and so far we could just make two Formula one drivers don’t you feel that our country is too behind in supporting this sport ?
Yes of course. India is far behind when it comes to Motorsports. It needs to develop and many people need to take up Motorsports and bring its level up.
What according to you is the reason for people not interested in taking racing as a career?
The main reason behind it is that, Motorsports is a very expensive sport. And India is a country where not every person would put in so much of money just for racing. And we don’t have many tracks for people to come and race.
What do you think is the support required for this sport to emerge out and to spread to more people?
We need companies to invest into Motorsports. And more racing tracks need to be built up so that whoever wants to go and practice and get trained can always go to the nearest race track. Motorsports needs to be promoted much more to the general public.
