Mixing her passion, Savitha Nambrath

About Beyond the clouds, and the experience of working with the ace film maker, Majid Majidi.

It was a wonderful experience for me and for all my team. We all met Mr. Majid Majidi before starting our work. He was very particular about the sound he wanted. He wanted the realistic sound from the real location and he wanted us to give different shade to each scene through sound. He was very particular about the impact of sound in each scene. He was very nice and kind to all of us. If I am absent in studio one day, the next day he will enquire about that to me in a friendly manner. He always had that caring nature towards all his team members. He told us that he never worked with this many girls in a film, I really felt proud on hearing that. Yes, we girls are working in every field of a film now.

Your upcoming projects?

There are few projects lined up. One is ‘Anam’ produced by Drishyam films, the same production house who did movies like Newton and Masaan. Ganesh Shetty is the director of this film. And another one is ‘Sthree’ directed by Amar Kaushik which has in the lead roles. Another challenging thing is that, I will be working as an independent Sound Designer in these feature films.
