Mr. Bean will be back as an old pensioner

After the two successful series of Mr. Bean movies which released in 1997 and 2007 the third part of the movie will be coming soon and interestingly this time Rowan Atkinson the legendary comedian behind Mr. Bean character will be seen as old version of Bean to be precise an old age pensioner.  Rowan Atkinson, the people’s favorite comedian after Charlie Chaplin has done so many other movies too but the charm which he have when he is in the role of Mr. bean is something which can’t be replicated by anyone else. Rowan who is 62 years said to media that it’s Richard Curtis, the co-creator of Mr. Bean series who came up with the idea of pensioner version of Bean. And Rowan believes that playing an old man is going to be lot funnier than the young one.

Mr. Bean is a British sitcom created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis, and starring Atkinson as the title character. Atkinson co-wrote all fifteen episodes with Curtis, Robin Driscoll, Ben Elton. Thirteen of the fifteen episodes were broadcasted on ITV, from 1 January 1990, until 31 October 1995. During its five-year run, Mr. Bean became a significant part of 1990s British popular culture, with the series gaining large UK audience figures, including 18.74 million for the 1991 episode “The Trouble with Mr. Bean”. The series has received a number of international awards, including the Rose d’Or. The show has been sold in 245 territories worldwide and has inspired an animated cartoon spin-off, two feature films, and a live appearance at the London 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.

Mr. Bean’s car, a 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000, developed its own character of sorts over the series and was central to several antics, such as Mr. Bean’s getting dressed in it, driving while sitting in an armchair strapped to the roof, starting it with a number of locks and keys, or attempting to avoid a car park fee by driving out through the entrance.
