DJ Savyo who has been in the music industry for past 22 years said β It was a dream come true moment for me to be featured on one of the biggest stage and to perform in front of an audience from various parts of the country.βSavyo had his Playlist filled with 90 percent of Malayalam remixes which had the likes of the audience more than 5000. And not just the audience, Savyo says β The light and sound crew who were from Europe came to me after the show and told me that they were dancing behind the console even though they didnβt understand the lyrics.β Itβs true that music has no barriers and itβs beyond language and culture. βPerforming on Jubilee stage is a big thing for any artists, but representing Kerala with Malayalam remixes on an International stage and able to entertain a mix of international audience is a dream come true moment for me β Savyo said and yes indeed its a proud moment for artists and musicians in Kerala to realize that the world not just loves our mountains or backwaters they love our kind of music too.
On seeing the immense response from the crowd on 22nd January, the Expo officials called back Savyo once again to perform on the same Jubilee stage and thus becoming the first Dj to be called back to perform at that venue. This time he was featured along with the popular music bands Avial and Thaikkudam Bridge on Feb 12th. “It was on a tight schedule that I performed for the second time at Expo 2020 as I had a week’s tour to Doha , but still I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to perform back on that majestic stage” quoted Savyo.
