What is it like growing up in a musical family? How does it inspire you to be who you are?
Family is the root that upholds your vision. Growing up in a family, where music is worshiped not only uplifted my confidence but also envisioned my dreams. Being a stage performer ever since I learn to sing, I was acclimated with the stage ever since my lower primary school. It brought the best in me to the audience and I enjoyed performing. I was a state level performer.
I believe that a family rightly drives your passion and encourages you and help you to be yourself completely. I am blessed to be born in this family, who unduly supports me and understands me. Taking a career break, to pursue my passion, is not easy, and my family is my support ever since I know.
My parents, brother who is a violinist and my wife Priyanka and kids Navami and Dhara are inordinately supportive in my career decisions.
What led you to take up Sound Engineering being a passionate singer?
My desire to compose, and be my own sound engineer for my songs, led to me to pursue the same. It changed my outlook to the world of music. I enjoyed my studies along with performing at various stages that brought my passion a different outlook and approach. Myself, and few friends who shared a passion for music, together formed a band, performing live at various stages and contests.
