Recycle and reinvent is the latest trend that many companies are following in their business marketing strategy. We saw Bajaj automobiles reusing and recycling the parts of INS VIKRANT, the first aircraft carrier built in India and converted it into a motor cycle under the brand name Bajaj V (Vikrant) which was released in 2016. Samsung Note Fan Edition is the Samsung’s version of recycling
Samsung here has chosen an unpopular model of them for recycling and that is their most problematic model Note 7 which caused them a worldwide loss of £4.4bn.
Note FE (Note Fan Edition) is the name given to the recycled version which is made from more than three million recycled Note 7 phones. Note 7 phones were called off from the market in 2016 due to faulty battery assembly in them resulting in fire and bursting issues.
Note FE will be launched initially in South Korean market and is expected to cost around 40,000 INR. The initial production count will be limited to 4 Lakh units and the company is claiming that it’s made as per the required safety requirements.
